bold colors would look great on your skin tone...esp. ones that are rich in pigments and has lots of shimmer...because you have a deep pigment you can get away with wear very bold colors...dark color would not accent your skin...very warm shimmery color will do so...look in mags to see examples...essence is a good start...What Color Eyeshadow Looks Best On An African Girl?

Try some bright colors like blues.
go with greens- like light greens from Maybelle, even one of their models is wearing it and she's dark skinned also.

Im African and I mostly use burgandy, deep maroon, ebony , greens and golds
None just stick to mascara
