EYESHADOW: This is a question for all u girls, easy to answer...?

Is it worthy to spend a lot of money on expensive EYESHADOWS or the drugstore ones do the same effect or similar?

I know this is a question very often discussed...

What is ur experience with eyeshadows? Do u like the cheap ones like Wet n Wild/Prestige/Jane or do u think Chanel and Mac are worthy?EYESHADOW: This is a question for all u girls, easy to answer...?
It varies .makeup looks the same but most of us are clueless as to what it is that were putting on our face.

For an eyeliner pencil , i would say nyc cosmetics from a drug store because it glides and works just as good as an expensive one .

If your a person thats really into makeup/color , very often the pricier eyeshadow is worth it because of the pigment quality , have you ever wore a regular shadow and notices how fast it comes off ?Urban decay , mac , smashbox - all those are great .

when it comes to foundation i would think twice about what im putting on my face , For example , bare escantual is natural and 100% pure minerals that is actually healthy for your skin because it wont clog your pores and cause you to break out, most drug store foundation usually comes in very unnatural tones and are mostly oily and often discolors.

As for a lip gloss/lipstick , id say anyone will do unless you are looking for a lip color plus treatment. Most often not many people don't even know why some of the more expensive things cost more , some have additional plumpers ,collagen ,vitamin e .ect.

Mascaras , even lancome will do ..but just be careful w/ the less cheaper ones , they might dry out lashes out over time . Ive had that happened w/ Cover girl.

I do admit that Channel and Dior is over priced and you can manage cheaper cosmetics that does the same work .You will be buying it for the brand.

just be smart about what you buy.EYESHADOW: This is a question for all u girls, easy to answer...?
my eyeshadows r from sephora and they cost about $15 each but they are really good, bedhead has really good eyeshadows to and M.A.C' are ok some of them break easily. But chanel and them have the same effect as drugstore ones. covergirl has good eyeshadows and so does victoriasecret.
Drug store ones do a good job. But the expensive ones are even better- they have a more vibrant pigmentation- that is the difference
I think it does not matter they usually are both good. But make sure you test it before you wear it in public. It's better to by the better one though, because you will have better quality. Why spend less money on cheap make up's if they are just going to wipe off, smudge. More money means better quality.
there all the same to me..like i have MAC eyeshadow eyshadow from dollar store and ELF some from Drugstore all the same too me..I LOVE wet n wilds and JANE

NYC is crap..
well they all do the same thing nd cheap is good but every once n a while u should by urself a special one u kno
i usually buy lancome, urban decay, etc

ones that u can find in sephora

to me, those go on smooth and have that creaseless look

usually they give a wider variety of colors as well and the color stays on for longer and just looks beautiful

i thinks its worth it

The drugstore brands work just as good. But if you really want to waste your money then buy the more expensive brand.
depends what kind of look you go for. the more expensive brands have more pigment (color) and tend to stay longer, and so if you like a lot of color and staying power, go with mac and chanel, but if you are young and dont care much, than go with the drugstore brands.

or try HIP by l'oreal, they're like 8 bucks, and are the quality of mac eyeshadow. pretty cool. =)
honestly i use alot of covergirl but when i really want to dramatize eyes and use bright colors i use MAC i love it its the best for bright colors
i watched a special on this, last weekend. go for the expensive eye shadows because the pigments are stronger and you will get more color using less product. the cheaper brands will need more product to get the desired colors. you can skimp on mascara and lip glosses though.
i use mac cos of the many different pigments and that way u can get a better affect and it works well with a skin types.
I like jane and wet n wild, they offer alot of fun colors. As for their quality, i think it's pretty decent. I would never spend more than 10 bucks on some eye shadow, that seems outrageous to me.
well i have avon
i use the cheap stuff. i really don't see much of a difference from the expensive. i actually like the natural look better so i often don't even use it.
You know...once i got one for my sis from the dollar store 4 dress up...it turned out to be amazing!!! but mary-k is good to.
i like miss sporty collection2000 playboy rimmel london mabele newyork
I don't have any particular preference as I use both kinds- I go for beautiful colours when it comes to eyeshadow whether it be 拢2 a pot or 拢12 a pot. In my experience, the cheap stuff like Collection 2000 and Rimmel is just as good as Mac and Chanel.

What I'd suggest is a special matte base for your eyeshadow to sit on (you can buy them anywhere). Then it doesn't matter how much your eyeshadow cost or how long your eyeshadow claims to last because the base will do all the work and keep your eyes looking as fresh as when you first applied your make-up.

Hope that helps!
I don't think spending tons of money on make-up is worth it. Buying ones at the drugstore can be good too. It's just the same just without the brand names on it.
