I think a guy likes a girl for who she is and probably doesn't care about what she does with her makeup as long as the girl doesn't overdo it.Does a guy like when a girl puts make- up on when they are going out??? (eyeshadow, lipgloss,mascara,ect.)!!!!
If the colors are bold or bright, its best to wear minimal makeup, like just eyeshadow or eyeliner and mascara, with an equally bright lip gloss (but dap a bit off with a tissue so that its not too shiny) and tinted moisturizer (no foundation/powder).





If the colors are dark, smudgy eyeliner (done neatly, not messy) and mascara with a light mineral powder and colorless chapstick.





If the colors are natural (close to your skin tone), you can wear eyeliner, eyeshadow, mascara, and a lipstick (also close to natural lip color) with light powder.





When makeup is close to your natural skin tone, guys rarely notice that your even wearing a lot of makeup, but if makeup is dark, its best to go light with it because it can end up looking trashy or over-done.





Powder and foundation is something that you need to be careful with though. If you put it on and look in the mirror and see little powder flecks on your skin, it will be obvious that your wearing it when the guy gets near you, and thats usually a turn off, so light mineral powders and tinted moisterizers are usually best.Does a guy like when a girl puts make- up on when they are going out??? the only thing guys like at all is lip gloss and mascara on top. If you can find a foundation that is undetectable, go for that. Otherwise, natural is the best policy.





and it you're going to be kissing, go for chap stick. Smackers or C. O. Bigalow is the best (since they both taste great!)
guys don't like girls who wear too much makeup... so make it a subtle brown eyeliner and/or shadow. Natural colors are better then thick black eyeliner when it comes to guys.





Also... if the date went horribly wrong then he can blame it on your makeup. Seriously

well my bruva sed that,, girls that wear too much makeup are unattractive they come off manly and plastic. He also sed keep the makeup light as he (your guyfreind) will be concentrating on your face alot. so jus wear some light blusher and mascara not too much foundation etc etc.
Probably, just don't over do it. It's better to have the right amount than to just look like a clown. It depends on where you are going, what the lighting is and such.
There is a time and place to look great! But I think most guys like a natural look.Kinda messy bed head look without the sticky lipgloss...
