I usually wear gray eyeshadow, very light burgundy blush, and light pink gloss. I have also heard that bronze/gold eyeshadow is good for blue eyes. I don't know. I just need opinions, please! What shades of eyeshadow and colors on eyeliner would look good on me?

1st- what are the best brands to get? 2nd- i have medium to dark colored blonde hair. its not brown though

I have blue eyes

any ideas?

also how to put it on good? What shades of eyeshadow and colors on eyeliner would look good on me?
I have blue eyes too, a good rule of thumb is to go Opposite your eye color, to really make your eyes ';pop'; or stand out. I use Maybelline ExpertWear Eye Shadow, they come in 4 packs of color, all complimentary to one another. I use # 22(Chai Latte, and #40 Designer Chocolates). The best part for you would be the diagram they have on the back showing you where to apply the color. this would be a good option to start with. When you get more comfortable usng color, you can start picking and choosing your own shades independantly. As far as eyeliner, go with a color similar to your eye lashes, stay close to the lashline and don't make it too thick. Use a simple pencil liner, these are much easier than the liquid eyeliners and nowhere near as messy. Hope this helps!!What shades of eyeshadow and colors on eyeliner would look good on me?

I like M A C

and how to put it on good?

you can put the mascara only on the top lash, not the bottom, thats too much, and the eyeliner? if you want to make your eyes appear bigger stop the eyeliner b4 u get to the crease, if you want to make it smaller, go all the way/

for an edgy look, put it all around the eye, even the top.

and dont wear black, itll make you look emo.

What kind of shades of eyeshadow should I use for my eye and skin color?

I have white, light, tinyyyy bit tanned skin..

Along with dark/hazel eyes and dark brown hair with highlights.

I'm looking for shades of eyeshadow that would work really well for me.

Also, what kind of lipshades?

I don't want anything too dark or light, because I only use a little bit of makeup. But I've heard anything from blue to browns. I personally like the way brown looks on my eyes.

Is there a site or something that can help? :) cheers! What kind of shades of eyeshadow should I use for my eye and skin color?
I'd stick with natural tones. ESPECIALLY brown, a middle or darker shade of brown though to make your eyes appear even lighter than they are. Also, if you dont mind eye-liner, I'd try a very thin line of it on your eye lid, obviously close to your eyelashes, instead of where we normally wear it. That also, will make your eyes appear lighter, try a little bit of blush to make your cheek bones appear higher, and probably a clear lip gloss, unless you have thin lips, use lip liner. Basically the key is to just enhance what you already have by using very little of each thing :)What kind of shades of eyeshadow should I use for my eye and skin color?
i think red n brown degree ll be look nice 4 ur eyeshadow

Purple would look SOOOOO good on you.

and lighter shades of blue, but mainly purple and pink
Don't use purples! I have brown eyes..and even though I use just about every shade.. purple isn't the strongest color.. browns.. greens.. blues..golds..mostly earth tones look great especially if you're looking for something natural.. Go to the website I provided..you can uplaod your own pic..and try out different make up.. to be honest its not the shades you use but how you use them..

Dark/brown eyes usually look good with all eyeshadow colors, but especially purple and blue shades. If your eyes are hazel and they have gold in them, use bronze/gold colored eyeshadows. If they're green use greenish brown or greenish gold colors. For lipshades, I guess it depends on your skin's undertones. You didn't mention them, but since you say you're slightly tanned then maybe you have peachy/apricot undertones or olive maybe. In that case try light pink colors with a little bit of gold in them (not frosty colors though) or perhaps some nude colors.
A calm pink or purple avoid browns and yellows(yuuuuk):)
Purple shades in eyeshadows suit brown eyes
I have hazel eyes and dark hair. My skin is tanned depending if it's summer or not. Blue would NOT be a top choice for your eyecolor. Purples are great, and there are so many different shades of them. Maybe try a plum.

If you only use a little bit of makeup I'd do the following. Vanilla color shadow under your browbone, purple on your lids and a pink in the crease. little bit of liner and some black mascara. As for lips a color like ';French Toast'; by Covergirl with a super light pink gloss overtop. That way lips are natrualish with some color, eyes have some punch, and it's still not heavy makeup.

Fun site to play with:

http://www.covergirl.com %26lt;-- they have an online immediate beauty consultation you can fill out and get info from

Have fun!

BTW, if you do want to go bold and try a blue, I find navy and an aquaish blue work best ;) There's a duo by Dior cosmetics that I have with it and whenever I wear it I get compliments on my eyes.
Are we talking more green or blue or brown in the eyes? Purpleish eggplants work great on green/gold tinted eyes. Lipsticks, well I love reds and I really love Revlon's deeply chili and go chili and Benefit's liar lips.
Earth tones, Browns, tans, Greens - the green will bring the Hazel in your eyes come out - Pop saus peopl say.
pink eyeshadow or light cream goes good with brown eyes and a light lip color or lip gloss to give it some shine
really it doesn't matter anyshade looks good. Some people are a lil picky though. You can go with anything.
You're in luck. Almay happens to carry eye palettes for specific eye color to help play them up. (see the link below for hazel eyes. If you're eyes are really brown, they have a palette for them as well.) They also have a questiannaire to guide you for chosing other makeups as well (link also below).

Good luck!
Either a Light Purple or Pink, I usually use a light cocco color on top of the light colors. It brings out your eyes and your tan
purple and light pinks work real well with brown hair and hazel eyes
We are twins! I have the same eye, hair and skin coloring as you.

This is what I use for eyeshadow and lip shades

Soft Rose

First apply to entire eyelid (soft shimmer pink) that includes under the lower eye lid.

Third, apply a v shape of Vintage gold on outside of eyelid, rub and blend in all colors.

Follow that up with Brown Eye liner. And Black-brown Mascara

For Blush- us Sierra pink

lip color a light-medium Rose-followed by clear lip gloss

I got these techniques from Mary Kay Consultants. Go to Mary Kay.com and there will be a virtual makeover you can do, to see what our your best colors. Have fun!

To compliment green eyes, go for copper, dark purples, green, or brown shades. Brown shades look best on green eyes, especially if your eyes are a light shade of green because a deep brown will help make your eyes pop. =)What color eyeshadow shades compliment green eyes?

I think that green looks great with black eyes...try mac greens they are the best!!!
purple or violet, pink, blue, green
Leave them natural. Putting paint around your beautiful black eyes would probably draw attention away from them. God made your eyes beautiful, keep them that way.
definitely green. also hot pink would be cool, as would medium purple and blue. green is the best though
    light lavender or purple
    Nothing bright. Golds, browns, tans.

Which eyeshadow shades would best compliment asian skin?

I have no idea which eyeshadow shades would best compliment me. I have like a tanned asian skin color and very black hair and eyes. I'm looking for shades that look very natural. And what drugstore brand and line would you recommend?

Thanks in advance !Which eyeshadow shades would best compliment asian skin?
brown looks good on asians. =)

and i like the brand covergirl, cuz its the cheapest and works great!Which eyeshadow shades would best compliment asian skin?
I'm half Filipina, and I usually have no problem with this, so dont worry. (:

Considering you have brown eyes (since most Asians do) I'd suggest purples (not royal, more in the lilac for day and plum for night), greens (not lime - olives and earthy tones) and browns (any shade) for your eyes.

Paired with great dark brown eyeliner and black mascara, these colors make eyes pop against your specific skintone. Try to stay away from warm colors (red, yellow, orange) since they don't contrast with your skin and seem forced.

    Hope this helped!
I'm asian and I think lavender and green shades look good. I would stay away from pink/red tones because asian eyes are not ';sunk in'; like westerners and those colors can make your eyes look puffed up. I typically do not even mess with browns.
natural shades? Those are called neutral shades (browns, creams), which usually come in a palette which compliments all skin tones.

As for colors, you just got to try it. Green looks great on deep brown eyes.
i would say a light brown or light pink.
