Don't worry - you don't necessarily need to have a separate brush to apply a separate color. If you choose to only use one brush - just be sure to wipe off the previous color! You'd be surprised how much eyeshadow those bristles can hold onto!

I wipe my brush (like a windshield wiper) back %26amp; forth across a paper towel until I can't see any of the previous color. If your first color was a lighter shade - you can probably skip this step altogether.

Now, depending on the type (or shape) of brush that you're using - you'll get different results. Flat, stiff brushes will deposit a lot of color all in one area. A rounded, soft brush will deposit color, but it will also give you better blending ability.

Personally, I like to use a flat brush to apply the colors first - then, I use a rounded brush to blend, blend, blend!

Above all - have fun! There are thousands %26amp; thousands of different combinations that you can choose from. I've also found some very helpful ';smokey eye'; videos on YouTube that you may want to check out!

I also added the website for a cosmetics site that I've recently found: Jesse's Girl. It has really great stuff! 'Especially for eyes! Their eye dusts are very similar to Bare Escentuals eye minerals.

Good luck, gorgeous! ;o)
