Out fits definitely depend on skin tone, but I have dark brown hair and brown eyes so luckily I know what eyeshadow looks good.
Try: Lavender on the lid
Dark brown in the crease
Light brown as the highlight
Also, use plum liner. It can be hard to find, but Almay makes it and it can be found in most drugstores. You could also use an anglebrush dipped in a plum loose powder shadow.
For a more dramatic look:
Metallic Brown on the outer half of the lid
Goldish Vanilla on the inner half
Blend with an eye brush
Voila! you have a fabulous evening look!

For clothes, it doesn't matter what color your hair and eyes are, its your skin tone. Usually if u have blue eyes, blue shirts look nice, but that doesnt help if u have brown eyes. You can still wear a brown shirt, just if your hair is up, or if it is silky shirt you can wear it down.
To accentuate your eyes, browns and golds on the eyes would look pretty. Remember, it should go well with the skin tone. Smoky eyes would also look nice.

I think neutral colors on your eyes- golds, browns, beiges. Line with bronze, or brown, not real dark black.
For the clothes, try vibrant, clear colors such as periwinkle (purplish blue), turquoise blues, and fuschias.
For eyeshadows, I would say you could carry off bolder colours, like greens and plums (in more muted tones) - just make sure you dont go bold everywhere, e.g. green eyeshadow, red lipstick. For clothes I would steer clear of wearing all over neutrals, i.e. browns, beiges, unless you're working somewhere very conservative and dont want to stand out. In general I would say bright coloured clothes would work on you as long as you wear something neutral as well to balance it out. Dark brown eyes, you're suppose to wear blue eye shadow. Not flashy. It will definitly make excentuate your eyes. It will totally look fab. Clothes, anything. Definitly lighter colors. I don't know your skin tone but definitly try out blues/pinks and greens!!
My hair and eyes are extremely dark brown, and I like to wear red. For eye make up, I wear neutrals in the day, but turn up the heat at night. I go for brights--pinks, purples, blues, greens--from those mineral make-up people at the mall. Not Bare Escentuals, but the ones that sell from the kiosks/carts in the middle of the mall. I've always heard that purple eyeshadow was supposed to bring out dark brown eyes nicely (that's my color of eyes too) but it doesn't have to be too gaudy or anything. Also white clothes are supposed to look good with dark hair. But I like wearing brown too.
My sister has dark hair, eyes, and skin. I would definately say that the lighter colors are the best. I also liked the white gold look with her jewelry rather than yellow. I think blue is really pretty, you dont want to look like your 10 cents, so not too much eye shadow. The shirt color is pretty in bright blue or pink.

I like to go for the neutral colors on brown hair and eyes. You can try shades of orange, coral, gold, taupe. Neutrals are definitely fail proof. When you are tan or have a dark complection, a coral top and soft gold eyeshadow looks so hot!
I would recommend light (little shiny) whitish pink for eyeshadow and dark brown eyeliner though it depends on shape of your eyes. (pink eyeshadow makes eyes little puffy if your eyes are small. but that's where the eyeliner comes!) Clothes - I don't think your hair color or eye color matters. Anything you like to wear!

Where do girls get that nice deep blue eyeshadow/mascara?
It goes on the lid but also a bit on the lash. It is a really nice deep vibrant blue. I have only seen it on some girls and have no idea where they get it from! I've tried buying the Almay blue mascara but it is too dark and looks black.

You can get the DIOR mascara at Sephora- it can go on the tips of your lashes or you can use it on your full lash-
Try Mabelline Blue Mascara and then after you apply it...dip your eyelashes in a vibrant light blue powder eyeshadow...the light blue on the dark blue will bring out the color

i think reach golds and browns, maybe even a deep purple will look good with your skin tone i like the boujour eyeshadows and the body shop have a really good limited addition thin gold liguid eyeliner its quite expensive at 拢9 but it works really well

Accentuate your eyes by using plums browns and green shades (don't be afraid of green). Avoid heavy black shadow as well as silver and frosty blues. Also try outlining only the outer corners of your eyes with a smokey gray or lightly with a charcoal black to give more definition to make eyes appear larger. Or you could just go with a shear shade and use the outlining technique. Good Luck and don't forget the blush, blush is stunning on asian women.

Actually darker skin makes the bright colors stand out more. Personally I think it looks great. I would say, purple, lime green, hot pink, yellow, and maybe an aqua or teal color would look great. It's hard to say since I don't know your exact skin tone. Just remember to use lots of black around the lashes to make your eyes look bigger and make the colors ';pop'; out from your eyes... don't take the color anywhere past the crease of your eyelid... and if you do make sure it's only the faded part... and be sure to fade from really bright or thick color (by the lashes) to lighter and thinner color towards the direction of the brow. And for a twist, my favorite thing to do is make the base color lime green and then put purple, pink or dark blue right in the inner corners of the eye by my nose and blend them so it looks like an evening shadow with a snap!
I've put some examples below in the links for you... my advise would be to pick one you like and practice doing it on yourself until it looks like the picture. Not unless you really cant tell its there. I hate make-up on girls where you can totally tell it is there. It needs to look natural and suttle.

Go to youtube and search for makeup videos, they have a lot of colored girls doing makeup tutorials and I think most of it looks really good.
Not unless you really cant tell its there. I hate make-up on girls where you can totally tell it is there. It needs to look natural and suttle.
If you have light brown skin then you should use purple or silver, but if you have dark skin then use lighter colors like yellow! Just don't use a lot! :) hope this helps!

It varies .makeup looks the same but most of us are clueless as to what it is that were putting on our face.
For an eyeliner pencil , i would say nyc cosmetics from a drug store because it glides and works just as good as an expensive one .
If your a person thats really into makeup/color , very often the pricier eyeshadow is worth it because of the pigment quality , have you ever wore a regular shadow and notices how fast it comes off ?Urban decay , mac , smashbox - all those are great .
when it comes to foundation i would think twice about what im putting on my face , For example , bare escantual is natural and 100% pure minerals that is actually healthy for your skin because it wont clog your pores and cause you to break out, most drug store foundation usually comes in very unnatural tones and are mostly oily and often discolors.
As for a lip gloss/lipstick , id say anyone will do unless you are looking for a lip color plus treatment.Most often not many people don't even know why some of the more expensive things cost more , some have additional plumpers ,collagen ,vitamin e .ect.
Mascaras , even lancome will do ..but just be careful w/ the less cheaper ones , they might dry out lashes out over time . Ive had that happened w/ Cover girl.
I do admit that Channel and Dior is over priced and you can manage cheaper cosmetics that does the same work .You will be buying it for the brand.

I like jane and wet n wild, they offer alot of fun colors. As for their quality, i think it's pretty decent. I would never spend more than 10 bucks on some eye shadow, that seems outrageous to me.

I don't have any particular preference as I use both kinds- I go for beautiful colours when it comes to eyeshadow whether it be 拢2 a pot or 拢12 a pot. In my experience, the cheap stuff like Collection 2000 and Rimmel is just as good as Mac and Chanel.
What I'd suggest is a special matte base for your eyeshadow to sit on (you can buy them anywhere). Then it doesn't matter how much your eyeshadow cost or how long your eyeshadow claims to last because the base will do all the work and keep your eyes looking as fresh as when you first applied your make-up.

Use a bunch of browns. Make the darkest brown in the crease of ur eye and get lighter as you go towards your nose. Make sure you highlight under ur eyebrown with a good white kinda creamy colour. Then use black eyeliner and mascara. Works really good for me..he he

you only need black eyeshadow that'll stay on for long.
I spread the shadow all on the top lid and continue it until about 1 pinky width next to my eye. then i take a q-tip and carefully erase most of it , except for the part that's like 2 mm above my eyelashes and leave it when it looks thin.it looks really cool!
this look is really simple and classy, not like dark trashy liner..
I use cover girl. but to make your shadow last longer on your eye, apply cover up on your lid and spread it before putting on any makeup. the minerals catch each black particals and keep it from moving and/or smudging.
use blue eyeshadow w/ black eyeliner! black mascara also. just apply the eyeliner then the eyeshadow!

I have very fair skin, and I think using a light-medium brown eyeshadow isn't too dark. I love the brown's from the L'Oreal HIP line, and I think Covergirl has a great, wide selection of browns. I also think it helps to apply with an eyeshadow brush that you buy seperatley at any drug or grocery store (you can find them for really cheap). The one's that come along with they eyeshadow sometimes apply the shadow to harshly, making it look less natural.
Try Urban Decay in half baked. You can get it at Sephora. Its a light, shimmery brown that looks awesome on girls with really fair skin!
I use CoverGirl Tapestry Taupe. It's a nice shimmery color.

So, I Think That It Just Depends On Your Skin Colour And Whether You Suit It Our Not. But Also Depends On How Much You Have Put On And Your Method Of Applying.

Well i don't really feel the need to wear any make-up i used to but i just felt there was really no need anymore so i stopped wearing it. So i guess i feel the same no make-up felt like it suited me.
Well I have only tried white and silver eyeshadow on me, and they look ok I think they'll suit everyone really because the colours brighten the eyes up making them more pretty. I think Gold goes really nice with people who have dark skin though.

I have the 88 Shimmer one. i got it a few months ago and its great if you're starting out. its really pigmented but i found a few of my shadows to be powdery but when my sister got hers a few days ago all hers were fine. They work best with a base like urban decay primer potion. the colors stay true when put on and you dont need too much since its highly pigmented. I would say to get the shimmer one because my friend has the matte and she didnt like it as much because some of the colors didnt show up as well as the shimmer palette.

I forgot it was on there and like I had to do the dishes so my hands had to be in water like over 30+ times and the color of the pink eyeshadow was still so VIBRANT! I have the 88 matte palette btw

Try either Revlon's Colorstay eyeshadows or the mineral eyeshadows from Bare Escentuals. I've had great luck with both these brands, even though my skin is oily. 1. Apply a light color from lid to eyebrow ( this showed be a neutral color), then apply your main color only to your eye lid. This creates a great soft day look.
2. Apply a light color from lid to eyebrow, apply main color to eyelid only, then apply a darker color to the outer corner and crease of you lid. This creates a great smokey eye.
Use a brush and start from the inner lid and work outer.
first put on some foundation (powder) because then your eyeshadow stays on and doesn't loose its color. then slowly apply the eyeshadow on your eyelid. A good thing to do is to apply your eyeshadow with a cutip it really brings a great look to it!
well if you ask your pro how they did it, you can duplicate what they did and get the exact results you want and know how it will turn out as well!

Do you like when girls wear colorful eyeshadow (not every color at once). Like one day her eyes are pale green, and the next soft blue. Nothing like dramatic. very soft colors??Do guys like girls with eyeshadow?

You dont wanna put like neons and all colors that stand out on your eyes. you need to be soft, and neutral. u can be dark black and neons and everything. that weird. you have to do light browns, pinks, soft blues and soft greens. no yellow! be very soft and choose wisely. BE SOFT!!!!. Always be neutral with your makeup. No hot pink lipstick or gloss. light browns and pink and some red your your lips. always be soft. ur rite, nothing dramatic!!

Try it out beforehand, just to be safe.
I use a base shadow, [about the same shade as my skin tone], and slick it over my [top]lids, top and bottom, and then use a white, sparkly cream shadow on my top lid, all the way to the brow. I use black liner or liner shadow in a thicker line, on my bottom lid, about halfway in.
So yes, I wear [cream] shadow.
I wear eyeshadow. But nuetrals.

Here's how I see it, if a guy can't appreciate how you really look, don't bother. I mean, try to look nice, because it's rude not to, but don't change who you are because of it. As for the wearing make up camping, I suggest you don't wear it then. Maybe if you go somewhere else while your camping, but there's a lot of outdoor activities involved when you're in the wilderness and the last thing you want is to worry about your makeup, or your hair. Be comfortable, and relaxed so this guy can get to know the REAL you. Guys actually like that sort of thing, at least in my experience. Plus, would you really want to be with this guy, if you had to go on pretending who you were?

That isn't up to the eyelid. There is above the crease, and there is clown-like up to the brow.
That there is nothing. It's not over-applied, especially considering it is for a photoshoot (most likely something beauty related)
And most girls that are very into makeup wear their shadow to the brow.
Meaning you apply your shadow above the crease, blend it out, and apply a highlighting colour to the brow bone. I find that girls that wear their shadow only on the lid, meaning that as soon as the brush hits the crease they stop, can look very... choppy, and amateurish.

Yes, I'm a guy (not gay) but I've started wearing a slight bit of eyeliner, eyeshadow, and mascara. My question is - does eyeliner or eyeshadow go on first? i put eye liner on my top lid by pulling the lid up and lining underneath the eyelashes. then i put down concealer or sheer cream shadow and then powder eye shadow--any smudges made by the eyeliner get covered up with the shadow. but when you put shadow on, loose powder falls onto the lashes, so mascara covers that up. if you hold a tissue really close to the bottom lid and blink hard, you ';blot'; off any excess mascara so it doesn't get on your face. be sure to put some mascara on the bottom lashes so they show up too. it just looks weird to only have one set of lashes.
ps-there's a reason it's called ';guyliner'; --it's now somewhat acceptable for men to wear eye makeup, so don't feel embarrassed. i think it's kinda sexy when a guy cares enough about his appearance to even choose cosmetic products.
For mee, if you put eye liner first, then shadow, the shadow sometimes spreads on the liner and it messes up the fine linee, and same with as mascara brings lashes over the eye, so it wont look as neat and will probably smudge.
Soo! I apply a bit of moisturizer/foundation first, just to keep the eye nourished and it helps spreading. Then i apply my shadow, then my eyeliner, then my mascara .
If I'm only using a single color of each I use eyeliner first, then shadow and I blend the colors to get a subtle soft line. I put mascara on last so that I don't have powder landing on it.
I usually go to the salon and get my eyelashes tinted to save time, the process is quite cheap and lasts about six weeks- getting a lash tint might be all you need to emphasize your eyes without compromising your ';manliness';
if you wear pencil eyeliner put it on first then put on eyeshadow. if you use liquid then put it on after eyeshadow. put mascara on last. Also sometimes the eyeshadow gets caught in the eyelashes and makes the mascara goopy or lumpy. you can use an eyelash brush to avoid this!

okay, i will try to be brief..
for beginners, which i take you are, i would recommend eyeliner first, just because if you mess up one eye or eyes are uneven, then you don't mess up your eyeshadow when wiping it off to redo.
PLUS, by putting on eyeshadow (a skin toney/light shade im guessing?) on top of eyeliner, it softens the dark liner making it more subtle and o' naturaaal looking;) Something i would presume you would want, since your a straight bloke and everything....
and mascara last last LAST!
or, as someone previously said, tint em. Cheap at salons or to save potential embarrassment, do it at home, like i do (woo). its fool proof and cheap. (a box that lasts me 6months worth of dying is about $22)

okay, i will try to be brief..
for beginners, which i take you are, i would recommend eyeliner first, just because if you mess up one eye or eyes are uneven, then you don't mess up your eyeshadow when wiping it off to redo.
PLUS, by putting on eyeshadow (a skin toney/light shade im guessing?) on top of eyeliner, it softens the dark liner making it more subtle and o' naturaaal looking;) Something i would presume you would want, since your a straight bloke and everything....
and mascara last last LAST!
or, as someone previously said, tint em. Cheap at salons or to save potential embarrassment, do it at home, like i do (woo). its fool proof and cheap. (a box that lasts me 6months worth of dying is about $22)

Black always is a classic and looks great, but my taste in makeup is very intense and exotic. I like Turquioses on my eye personally, because it brings the brown out! Make sure its colored eyeliner though becuase it goes on well and stays for a while. But if you dont like blue, Greens and Purples look awesome and Copper colors. Just experiment with color eyeliners and you will surely find what you are looking for!
Do a golden bronzer for your skin tone to bring out your tone. For your eyes, do the covergirl gold shadows. They have a dark brown for the base, a shimmer bronz for the crease and a gold for the brow. It will really bring out the brown highlights in your eyes. I know that's hard to see, but it works.
i think you should not go with something so bold since it is school. i think you should go with a soft green or blue. don't try to make it look runway-eske, but since you want your eyes to stand out, and you have nearly black hair i think green would go perfectly!

you don't need the eyeshadow, your eyes are bold enough with the liner. You do a good job of making them stand out already. If you really want the shadow, then go with a brown color. It isn't really necessary because your eyes are pretty already!
some rosy pink accented with light brown would look really good. Also try brown eyeliner if u do wear the pink. Maybe a light green would alos be pretty.

Anybody can pull off any colour. It's just how you wear it. Unless you're doing rainbow, try not to use more than 3 colours. I use white in the inner corner to open up my eyes, then i choose a colour theme. Usually it is pink. So I have white in the inner corner, a light pink in the middle, and blend a dark one in the outside.
It's really up to you, but any colour would suit you if you have confidence. =]

Out fits definitely depend on skin tone, but I have dark brown hair and brown eyes so luckily I know what eyeshadow looks good.
Try: Lavender on the lid
Dark brown in the crease
Light brown as the highlight
Also, use plum liner. It can be hard to find, but Almay makes it and it can be found in most drugstores. You could also use an anglebrush dipped in a plum loose powder shadow.
For a more dramatic look:
Metallic Brown on the outer half of the lid
Goldish Vanilla on the inner half
Blend with an eye brush
Voila! you have a fabulous evening look!

Dark brown eyes, you're suppose to wear blue eye shadow. Not flashy. It will definitly make excentuate your eyes. It will totally look fab. Clothes, anything. Definitly lighter colors. I don't know your skin tone but definitly try out blues/pinks and greens!!
My hair and eyes are extremely dark brown, and I like to wear red. For eye make up, I wear neutrals in the day, but turn up the heat at night. I go for brights--pinks, purples, blues, greens--from those mineral make-up people at the mall. Not Bare Escentuals, but the ones that sell from the kiosks/carts in the middle of the mall. I've always heard that purple eyeshadow was supposed to bring out dark brown eyes nicely (that's my color of eyes too) but it doesn't have to be too gaudy or anything. Also white clothes are supposed to look good with dark hair. But I like wearing brown too.
My sister has dark hair, eyes, and skin. I would definately say that the lighter colors are the best. I also liked the white gold look with her jewelry rather than yellow. I think blue is really pretty, you dont want to look like your 10 cents, so not too much eye shadow. The shirt color is pretty in bright blue or pink.

I like to go for the neutral colors on brown hair and eyes. You can try shades of orange, coral, gold, taupe. Neutrals are definitely fail proof. When you are tan or have a dark complection, a coral top and soft gold eyeshadow looks so hot!

Dark brown eyes, you're suppose to wear blue eye shadow. Not flashy. It will definitly make excentuate your eyes. It will totally look fab. Clothes, anything. Definitly lighter colors. I don't know your skin tone but definitly try out blues/pinks and greens!!
My hair and eyes are extremely dark brown, and I like to wear red. For eye make up, I wear neutrals in the day, but turn up the heat at night. I go for brights--pinks, purples, blues, greens--from those mineral make-up people at the mall. Not Bare Escentuals, but the ones that sell from the kiosks/carts in the middle of the mall. They sell some fun colors. Make-up has to be fun sometimes, right? Good luck!
I've always heard that purple eyeshadow was supposed to bring out dark brown eyes nicely (that's my color of eyes too) but it doesn't have to be too gaudy or anything. Also white clothes are supposed to look good with dark hair. But I like wearing brown too.
My sister has dark hair, eyes, and skin. I would definately say that the lighter colors are the best. I also liked the white gold look with her jewelry rather than yellow. I think blue is really pretty, you dont want to look like your 10 cents, so not too much eye shadow. The shirt color is pretty in bright blue or pink.
clothes depends on your skin tone, but a blue eye shadow (just a bit) would most likely look good
I like to go for the neutral colors on brown hair and eyes. You can try shades of orange, coral, gold, taupe. Neutrals are definitely fail proof. When you are tan or have a dark complection, a coral top and soft gold eyeshadow looks so hot!
I would recommend light (little shiny) whitish pink for eyeshadow and dark brown eyeliner though it depends on shape of your eyes. (pink eyeshadow makes eyes little puffy if your eyes are small. but that's where the eyeliner comes!) Clothes - I don't think your hair color or eye color matters. Anything you like to wear!

I'm trying to put this eyeshadow on, it's like REALLY sparkley coming in light pink, magenta, blue, and silver. When I tried putting it on it just kind of wouldn't cover my whole eyelid... Any help?

Where do girls get that nice deep blue eyeshadow/mascara?
It goes on the lid but also a bit on the lash. It is a really nice deep vibrant blue. I have only seen it on some girls and have no idea where they get it from! I've tried buying the Almay blue mascara but it is too dark and looks black.

You can get the DIOR mascara at Sephora- it can go on the tips of your lashes or you can use it on your full lash-
Try Mabelline Blue Mascara and then after you apply it...dip your eyelashes in a vibrant light blue powder eyeshadow...the light blue on the dark blue will bring out the color

I have somewhat bright green eyes (don't really appear hazel-ish or blue-ish, they are a true green), and I've noticed that purples and browns really compliment my eyes... But I like to play around with all sorts of colors (pinks, peaches, bronzes, plums, etc.) and I was wondering which colors I should avoid? Let me know, thanks!

You are right, purples and browns are really good. Also try gold shimmer eyeshadow and possibly silver especially now that it is summer - gold will also look great with your hair and skin. pale green also looks good but is can also look really bad so you might want to experiment and see how it looks. Avoid pinks and yellows, they won't look very good. The best thing to do is to get a large cheap pallet of lots of different colour eyeshadows (as long as you aren't allergic to cheap eyeshadows) and try out different colours and see which ones work best then you can get good quality pallets of the colours you like - or stick to cheap ones - whatever is best for you. Perhaps watch some make up tutorials on youtube and experiment! hope this helps! :D x

I do. My favorite way is to use a charcoal eyeliner, then grayish black on the outer corner of my eye, with gray in the center, and off-white on the inner corner.

For the day just us light shimmer dust
I think if it is done right, it looks awesome. I do it everyday and I get comments on how beautiful my eyes are several times a week

LOL use 3 sometimes. Light on the Lid, then Darker in the right corner, then Light but not lighter than the first. Anyway put the last color right under the eyebrow

I do. My favorite way is to use a charcoal eyeliner, then grayish black on the outer corner of my eye, with gray in the center, and off-white on the inner corner.

I had a music teacher that did a LONG time ago. I thought it looked a little funny. I prefer the natural look much more. :)
I don't wear eyeshadow. Just mascara and liner. Sometimes a little on the lid for shiny effects, but that's it. I don't like to take that much time with it.
